The wing of cyber crimes of the police in cybernetics found 10 cases in many countries from 17 to 23 September, which led to the arrest of 13 perpetrators.
Of these, nine were linked to trading fraud, while others were applied to digital arrest fraud, cheating expropriating and fraud or part -time fraud.
During the operations, the authorities confiscated 13 mobile phones and 14 SIM cards from the accused.
In addition, the police provided 370 money refund orders in 113 cases from courts, resulting in a total of 1.69 GBP crore victims.
The main case uncovered this week included a victim cheated with 51.65 GBP Lakh via online trading fraud. Initially, the complainant was contacted by a woman acting as a business advisor through an online chat platform, who later moved communication to Telegram and WhatsApp. He was convinced to register on the fraudulent trading website where false profits were issued on the fancy boarding board and repeated requirements for income tax, RBI services and VIP accounts were made.

It was found that one of the bank accounts that have been found to be associated with the accused is involved in 31 different cases, while another account was associated with 10 separate cases throughout the country.
In this case, the four accusations were identified as Kondapall Suneel Kanth, Kishhore Rachaputi, Rawal Bhupesh and Kadiyam’s Penchala.
Meanwhile, the police warned people of confidence of foreigners on chat platforms, telegram, WhatsApp or social media who promise quick money. Citizens were asked not to share the details of Aadhaar, bank data or personal documents with unverified persons – and to report suspicious activities immediately by 1930 or through www.Cybercrime.gov.in.
