The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has announced a 5% rebate on property tax for the financial year 2026-27 under the Early Accession Scheme applicable to payments made before April 30.
According to a notification issued by the Additional Commissioner (Revenue), the rebate is offered in accordance with the provisions introduced by Act No. 15 of 2013, which amended the GHMC Act, 1955. The amendment allows for a 5% rebate on property tax where the full tax for the current financial year is paid before April 30, irrespective of whether an invoice or demand notice has been served.
