India climbed to eighth place in the Commonwealth Games medal tally after bagging six medals on Day 5, taking the total to 10 with two gold, five silver and three bronze.Australia continued to dominate the table with 59 medals (26 gold, 13 silver and 20 bronze), followed by England with 32 medals. Canada took third place with 21 medals, followed by Nigeria (10) and Scotland (11). South Africa and Malaysia share 11 medals, with India close behind on 10.
