Police Kurnool on Friday (September 12, 2025) arrested an alleged automobile thief and won 32 stolen motorcycles worth 16 Lakh.
Police director Kurnool J. Babu Prasad said they had received a complaint about theft of motorcycles from the Bhupal complex in the city from one of Niranjan and recently started an investigation. A special team was created and alias alias Jaswanth of Gadwal in neighboring Telangana was accused.
The police received 32 motorcycles that were stolen from the various limits of the police station. Mr. Prasad said the police stations were informed of the recovery of stolen vehicles from their limits and the same will be handed over to the owners based on the engine and chassis engine numbers.
Mr. Prasad said the wheels were stolen from various intersections, hospitals and houses and the accused was arrested by CCTV.
