
The Vice President of Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) DN Rao said on Sunday that the initiatives of the Indian government and new policy concerning the promotion of semiconductors would create lakhs of youth jobs in the near future.
He said that the university gave maximum priority to students with additional skills to meet the expectations of the electronic components, which play an essential role in power, telecommunications, car, information technology and other sectors.
Professor DN Rao together with a team of members of the Faculty of University gave a presentation on “opportunities in electronic industry and benefits for students” at 62. Conference on the design of design (DAC), which started on San Francisco on Sunday, USA
In the press release of Dr. Rao said that Cutm, which has campuses in Vizianagarama, Bhubaneswar and other places, is the first university to participate in the prestigious conference on the automation of design (DAC), which will continue until June 25th.
“Our participation in the DAC 2025 reflects our commitment to top research and innovation. It is a proud moment for the Indian academic community because we are the first university from the country to show our skills in the world class,” he added.
The university has introduced several innovations, including digital production for clothing monitoring, electronic control units rooted system innovations and intelligent equipment to automate manual lathe. The university also signed an agreement with Marquee Semiconductors, a leading semiconductor company in the US to improve the university’s curriculum and provided students with practical experience in the field of advanced design automation tools.
