The movement of the center to reduce import oil to palm oil (all edible oils) from 27.5% to 16.5% would discourage farmers to mention the Minister of Agriculture on Saturday on Saturday.
He asked the Center to review its decisions for the interests of farmers and to promote the edible crop of oil plantations to protect the interests of local farmers. On Friday, the center reduced the customs obligation on the raw palm, sunflower and soy oil to reduce the import duty.
Mr. Rao said that farmers for oil palm trees demand for a long time to increase import duty from 27.5% to 40% to grow with rewarding edible oil crops. However, the center has reduced the duty in the name of food prices. This step would reduce the prices of oil palm bundles, currently at 21,000 GBP per tonne that would drastically affect the yields.
Reducing import obligations would cause farmers who were planning to accept oil cultivation, have second thoughts would affect the scope of the plantation crop and become an obstacle to plans to achieve self -confidence in the matter of edible oils. He addressed a letter from the Minister of Business Trade Unions Piyush Goyal and the Minister of Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan to review the decision of the center.
He said the supply of green manure seeds that the Minister said that over 56,262 seed quinters had purchased almost 1.18 lacquer farmers against 89,302 Quintals located in Agros Rythh Seva Kendras and Pacss.
The National Seed Society (each 5 kg) of the 5 varieties of green manure used in other countries supplied against indentation for the “Jeeluga” (Sesbania). It was ready to deliver another 5,000 kits containing one kg each of Jeeluga, Jute, Cluster Beans and Corn and half kg seeds Jowar and Cowpea used in other countries such as green fertilizes to improve soil fertility. The cost of each set is 635 GBP.
