Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) signed a memorandum of understanding (MO) to create an excellence center in sustainable boat construction technology.
CSL will provide CRORE 3.53 GBP to set the center to Varsity. The aim of the project was to bridge the gap between the industry of the boat construction and the academy, the edition said.
The center will focus on software development, skills, rise and digitization. It will provide state -of -the -art computing devices and advanced seabed software for research in maritime architecture and related areas to support innovation in boat design, boat construction and advanced ships.
The Executive Director of Madhu S. Nair handed over a memorandum for Dr. M. Junaid Bushiri.
