City Union Bank (CUB) in cooperation with City Credit has launched a new program that addressed economically weaker parts of society, such as small traders, street sellers, mini kiosky and others, especially in level III and IV.
The program was named as “Micro Lap” (Micro Loan of Maject) and on Wednesday was formally launched by the Executive Director of the bank Vijay Anandh. Anandh, who expresses the pleasure of the first start of Andhra Pradesh, said it would cover small traders and less paid people who are not in income tax.
Ravi Kondeti, CEO of City Credit, which serves as a field arm that takes care of promotion, marketing, check -in and collection of activities, explained the need to create awareness among potential customers living in distant villages and cities where the banking sector is not. “These are the priority sector loans because it includes mortgage loans and housing loans in the 10-50 ₹ 50 Lakh segment,” he added.
