The fans performed after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fell to the 25-run defeat in Delhi Capitals (DC) at Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Clash on Saturday, April 5 at Ma Chidambaram in Chennai. Mrs. Dhoni’s parents, Mr. Singh Dhoni and Devaki Devi, were present in Chepauk to watch the legendary cricket.
It was the first time Dhoni’s parents went to the stadium to watch the match. Dhoni’s daughter Ziva was also visible how she watched the match with her grandparents. However, Super Kings could not go through the finish line. Dhoni came to the bat on No. 7 after Kuldeep Yadav imprisoned Ravindra Jadeja Plumb before.

When CSK needed 110 runs to win his last 56 balls, he was on Dhoni and Vijay Shankar to approach their team to the finish. However, the duo could not accelerate the accelerator at the right time when the five -time champion ended up to 158 for five and lost by 25 runs.
Shankar remained outside 69 out of 54 with five and six, while Dhoni scored undefeated 30 out of 26 balls. The required speed of running was constantly rising and eventually came out of the range of CSK. After the defeat, Super Kings fell to the third loss on trot after loss in the hands of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Super Kings are seventh in the table with two points and a net speed of -0.771. The fans were not happy after Super Kings couldn’t walk around the finish line with Dhoni’s parents in Chepauk who enjoyed the match.
