Chennai Super Kings paid homage to R. Ashwin after the veteran off-spinner announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League on Wednesday, August 27. Ashwin last represented CSK after he secured a big money store at Mega auction? 9.75 crore. Along with the tribute CSK shared a specially designed poster with a huge image of Ashwin plastered via Ma Chidambaram Stadium.
“The journey that started like a super king ends like a super king. Forever Lion, forever one of us,” he added franchise.
In 2010 and 2011, Ashwin was helpful in the first two triumphs of the IPL title in Chennai Super Kings. Between 2009 and 2015 he played under Mrs. Dhoni for CSK before returning to five -time champions in 2025 in 2025.
