CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) Director D. Srinivasa Reddy has been awarded the prestigious ‘CRSI Silver Medal’ by the Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to chemical research and scientific leadership.

Mr. Reddy is known for his pioneering work in natural product synthesis, medicinal chemistry and drug discovery, which has significantly pushed the boundaries of chemical sciences. received numerous awards, including the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize and the JC Bose National Fellowship, according to a press release issued on Monday (July 6, 2026).
