
Croatian Zach Vukusic has made history as the youngest captain of the international cricket. In just 17 years and 311 days, Croatia led in a series of four T20i matches against Cyprus on cricket land Munost in Zagreb. He is also the first 17 -year -old team captain in the highest level cricket.
Other teenagers also captains of their country at a young age. In 2022, Noman Amjad led France against the Czech Republic at the age of 18 and 24 days.
In 2023, Captain Carl Hartmann by the island of Man against Spain at the age of 18 and 276 days and Lawwsanzundui Erdenebulgan skipped Mongolia against Nepal at Asian Games at the age of 18 and 324 days. In the same year Captain Didier Ndikubwiman Captain Rwanda against Tanzania at the age of 19 and 327 days.

Zach vukusic shines in Zagreb
In his first match as an international captain, Vukusic scored 43 escapes of 32 balls with five four and two six. But his knocking went in vain when Croatia lost 58 runs in Cyprus to go 0-1 down in the series. Vukusic was launched on No. 4 and was a top scorer for his team, but his knocking was not enough because Croatia was able to drive only 155 for six, while defending 213.
In 2024 Vukusic debuted the international debut against Belgium on cricket land Bayer Uerdingen. In his first six games, Vukusice scored 197 runs on average 32.83 and a strike rate of 138.73 with the highest score of 53. He also raised six goals at an economic rate of 9.18.
