The main objective of healthcare professionals should be to build a society without illness, said Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Alelekar. On Tuesday he ceremonially launched 21.
“The obligation accepted during convening does not require any further explanation – it clearly defines the mission of healthcare providers. Their focus should focus more on preventing diseases than on their treatment,” said Governor.
He noted that although our medical ratio of the doctor remains unsatisfactory, the aim of medical education must be to create a healthy society. “To achieve this, we must integrate modern medical science with traditional medicinal practices,” he added.
The governor noted that people consider healthcare workers to be the highest integrity and that their services must achieve even the most remote villages of the country.
During convening, the titles were awarded to 17,062 students from different universities associated with the university. Twelve students who secured their first rank in various subjects were appreciated by memento and money awards.
ARUN Jay Warrier, MBBS student in the second year of Government Medical College, Thrissur, who secured the highest marks in microbiology, won the Dr. CK Jayara Panicker Award.
Vice -Chairman of Mohanan Kunnummal, proven CP Vijayan, registrar S. Gapujar, controller S. Anilkumar, and the ceremony was attended by about six hundred students and parents.
