The head of the civic judge and member of the Secretary of the Office for Legal Services in the Ballari district, Rajesh N. Hosamane in Ballari on Friday, said that sharing your ideas and building social connections is crucial to overcome mental stress. Mr. Hosamane, who added his inauguration address, noted that the human brain naturally suppresses unpleasant memories to maintain an emotional balance. However, he said that modern work pressure and fast lifestyle increased mental stress among people.
“To maintain mental health, we have to engage in healthy activities such as yoga, meditation and praranayama. Mental stress is not a weakness, it is a condition that can be managed. Open communication with others helps to relax emotional burden,” he said.
The District Health and Family Care Officer Yalla Ramesh Babu said that discussions on personal challenges with friends and family members can help individuals overcome stress. The district surgeon N. Basareddy stressed that people suffering from mental stress must learn to control impulses and look for early treatment.
“Mental disease may have hereditary roots, but with responsible care and therapy patients can fully recover,” he said.
Psychiatrist Nanda Kishhore, who lectures a special lecture, said that mental health should be paid to the same attention as physical health. “Smartphones quietly increase stress in workplaces and families. A break from mobile phones for at least one day a week can significantly improve mental health,” he said.
