Attorney Pradeep Rana, advisor to the accused Gaganpreet Kaur, said:
The authorities confirmed that the Gaganpreet blood tests were negative to consume alcohol. She was arrested after being released from the hospital and was subsequently imposed in the court custody of the Municipal Court, the PTI report noted.
The case was submitted under various parts of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit, including Section 281 (Test), section 125b (endangering the life or personal security of others), Section 105 (murdered murder not in the murder), and Section 238 (Section 238 (Disappearance).
