CPI to stage protest in Ernakulam against ‘undeclared power cut’

The Communist Party of India (CPI) will stage a protest in Ernakulam district on Sunday (September 13, 2026) and Monday (September 14, 2026) against the alleged unannounced power cut causing hardship to the people of the state, said party district secretary N. Arun.

Frequent power outages took a toll on households, businesses, small industries and academic staff of students. Prolonged power outage during nights amid soaring temperature is making life a nightmare for people, Mr. Arun said.
