The State Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) Binoy Viswam said on Saturday (July 5) that the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party was a fascist force that drew the ideological inspiration of Mussolini and Hitler.
When he began a meeting of delegates at the CPI district conference, he said that the party had no doubt about the fascist nature of BJP and said that both BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) openly watched fascist ideals.
“Those who think BJP is a semi -fascist or neo -fascist are wrong. RSS and BJP follow the fascist path carved by Hitler and Mussolini,” said Mr. Viswam.
Viswam quoted the publication of the RSS Vichara Dhar and claimed that the organization had identified Muslims, Christians and communists as their primary enemies. “Today, the central task of the Indian political parties is to resist fascism today and CPI will be able to unify all democratic forces against it,” he said.
At Congress, he descended his “inability” to follow the goals of the Indian Alliance. “Congress remains biased by internal affairs and lacks a political vision necessary for the defeat of BJP. This deficiency has stopped the progress of the alliance,” he said.
Mr. Viswam rejected the Atmanirbhar Bharat program in the center as hollow rhetoric and claimed that the call for self -sufficiency was under pressure on direct foreign investment. “They (center) pass on the economic sovereignty of the country to foreign players and divert the public attention through religious polarization,” he said.
Warning of growing religious fanaticism, Mr. Viswam said: “Although religion is a reality in India, fanaticism is unacceptable. When combined with fascist policy, even justice and faith are destroyed.” At the discipline of the inside, Mr. Viswam stressed that criticism should be limited within the party and was not broadcast on social media.
CPI leader Kv Gangadharan raised the flag of the party. CP Shaaiijan, P. Snthosh Kumar, MP, KP Rajendran and E. Chandrasekharan were present.
