The Indian Communist Party (Marxist) (CPI (M)) stated that it will block the residence of the National Authorities for the India motorway office (NHAI) if the traffic block along 544 ADM does not resolve on 21 August. The party accused the authorities of the negligence of commuting commuting every day to leave the commuting for hours.

Overload is not limited to NH 544. On NH 66, the Kottappuram – Moothakunnam section has changed to a narrow profile, one kilometer lasted more than an hour. Pototé roads, unfinished works and frequent accidents related to potholes, especially between two -wheel riders, added to motorists’ problems.
