The Indian Communist Party (Marxist) (CPI (M)) stated that it will block the residence of the National Authorities for the India motorway office (NHAI) if the traffic block along 544 ADM does not resolve on 21 August. The party accused the authorities of the negligence of commuting commuting every day to leave the commuting for hours.
On Monday, the vehicles were stuck for more than four hours on the National Motorway Ernakulam-Thrissur, especially around the autumn construction site in AMBALLUR, PERAMBRA, Muringoor and Chirangara. Even ambulances were imprisoned in Gridge. The police alleviated overload by diverting smaller vehicles across the internal roads, but heavy trucks continued to choke the highway. The situation deteriorated after a truck tire loaded with the goods after the pothole and further stop operation.
The Supreme Court also descended hard to Nhai and toll operators and asked, “Why should people pay tax when the status of the highway is so pitiful?” Last Friday, motorists lasted 18 -hour traffic jam on the same section.
Also on NH 66
Overload is not limited to NH 544. On NH 66, the Kottappuram – Moothakunnam section has changed to a narrow profile, one kilometer lasted more than an hour. Pototé roads, unfinished works and frequent accidents related to potholes, especially between two -wheel riders, added to motorists’ problems.
