The Indian Communist Party (Marxista) intensified its campaign against the installation of intelligent electricity meters and growing tariffs in Andhra Pradesh and called on public resistance.

The party leaders explained the long -term consequences of intelligent meters and claimed that the equipment was installed without transparency or public consent and undertook against this step.
