The Indian Communist Party (CPI) National Secretary K. Narayan strongly protested the ongoing controversy over the alleged death of cows on “Sri Venkateswara Gosamshanasala”, Dairy farms operated by Tirupati Devasthanams).
Mr. Narayana visited the premises of the Milk Farm in Tirupat on Wednesday and communicated with officials, employees, including animal breeders who carefully monitor the development of animal shelters. The visit came to the accusation of the former chairman of the Bhumana Karunakar Reddy Council for the death of 100 cows in the last three months, which was later refuted by the TTD leadership.
When he talked to the media, Mr. Narayana said he had found no lack of feed or supply of lower quality feed towards animals, as a projected part of the political spectrum. However, he remembered that employees have confirmed in the past that they serve the feed infested with maggot.
The CPI leader also noted that the death was natural and due to aging, but not because of negligence, as Mr. Karunakar Reddy said.
“TTD is a world -famous institution that gains great worldwide attention. Devatives from around the world visit this shrine and offer offers in Tirumal, which is again used for the public’s well -being.
“Although we do not believe in God personally, we stand at an institution that feeds thousands of people,” he said.
