The Indian Communist Party (CPI) strongly condemned Adoni MLA PV PARASARATHI for alleged castes and religious remarks against Dalit Sarpanch during a public meeting in the village of Dhanapuram in the Kurnool district.
The State Secretary of the CPI K. Ramakrishn issued a statement on Saturday and demanded immediate steps against the legislature. According to Mr. Ramakrishna, there was an incident during the recent event in Dhanapuram, where the village of Sarpanch, a member of the Dalit community, was deliberately denied the opportunity to come to the stage. The leader of the CPI described this act as “outrageous and obedient”, accused the Mil of insulting Sarpanche on the basis of caste.
“Although apology apologized, the Mla mentioned Sarpanch’s religion, which is absolutely unacceptable,” Ramakrishna said, adding that such behavior did not appear an elected representative in democratic and civil society. He said that public officials must deal with a sense of responsibility and avoid any reference to a caste or religion in their public behavior. “We are demanding strict steps against the MLA PARTHASARATHI. In the future, the government must ensure that these incidents do not repeat in the future,” he said.
It should be remembered that the video of Adoni in Andra Pradesh in Kurnool has become a viral, which is shown by the BJP MLA allegedly degrading Dalit Sarpanch during the public event on June 16. The MLA can see how Sarpanch’s approach to stage and challenges, “is a Christian?” After he learned of his caste.
