
COVID-19 Cases in India, June 9: From 8:00 on Monday 9th June, according to data from the Ministry of Health and Family Care (MoH & FW) of the daily COVID-19 bulletin reported the total number of active cases of coronavirus in India.
The active case of the country has increased by 358 since yesterday.
According to the ministry, Kerala was most affected by Covid-19 with up to 1,957 active cases. 7 new cases in 24 hours were reported in the state.
The National City of Delhi has seen 42 new cases in the last 24 hours, with its total sum reaching 728.
COVID-199 TALLY: No deaths in 24 hours, a total of 65 years
The Ministry of Health stated that no Covid -related deaths have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. As of January, up to 65 Covid deaths have been recorded.
Since January 2025, the Mahashrashtra has seen the highest number of deaths – 18, followed by Keraral (15), Delhi (7), Karnataka (9), Tamil Nadu (6), Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat and Gujarat (2); and Rajasthan and West Bengal (every 1).
COVID-19 Recovery Tally: 624 patients released in 24 hours
The Ministry of Health said that up to 624 COVID patients have recovered and has been released from hospitals in the last 24 hours.
The total number of patients released since January 2025 was recorded at 6,861.
To strengthen readiness, the central government has launched simulated exercises across hospitals at a nationwide level and evaluated critical sources such as oxygen supply, fans and basic medicines to effectively manage potential surge.
Officials claimed that most cases were mild and follow home care.
