
The Bombay High Court on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) dismissed a petition filed by Fahim Ansari, acquitted in The case of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacklooking for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) which is required for commercial autorickshaw driving.
Justices Ajay Gadkari and Ranjitsinha Bhonsale said the authorities had rejected the certificate on security grounds and that the rejection was justified. The application was submitted in February 2024.
