In a suspicious case of suicides, a couple was found in their house in Karana on Sunday.
Police identified deceased people as Satheesh (52 years) and Bindu (44) from Kesava Bhavan in Thamalam. Satheesh’s body was found on the bed, covered with blood, while the bind was found hanging nearby.
The incident appeared around 9 am when their relatives and the neighbors forced to open the back door of the house after the couple could not be seen outside or late in the morning.
According to the police, preliminary findings indicate that financial problems can lead to deaths. The couple was reportedly burdened with huge debts and faced the prospects that their house would be connected by a bank.
Satheesh, a former supplier, worked as an authorickshaw driver. The couple survived their son, who works abroad.
