With a large number of leaders of the lobbying congress, to become members of the legislative Cardataka council, the party was not able to re -achieve the consensus of candidates who would be nominated against the four free chair in the upper house.
The resources in the party said that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Minister of DK Shivakumar and Secretary General AICC responsible for Karnataka Randeep Singh Surjewal decided to complete candidates with President AICC MALLIKARJUN KHARGE.
Mr. Siddaramaiah, Mr. Shivakumar and Mr. Surjewala conducted interviews on the list of candidates, but postponed the completion of the names. Almost two dozen candidates, including some journalists, lobbyed to become MLC, said the sources of the parties.
Meanwhile, Mr. Surjewala allegedly took several members of the party council, such as Ivan D’Ohou, Minister of NS Bosaraju, HP Sudham Das and Salim Ahmed, apparently for their work under it. Among other things, they were told to file a complaint with Governor Tawaarchand Ghelot against BJP MLC Ravi Kumar for his controversial statement against representatives of Kalaburagi Fauzia Tarannum, will learn it.
