“Today, it is the brightest to me that it is just the beginning, that Americans throughout this country, regardless of their title or party, are ready to be heard,” Booker said.
He added: “I believe that history will show that we have lifted to meet this moment. We will show that we have not allowed chaos and divisions to not respond. It turns out that when our president has decided to spread lies and stuck fear, we decided to connect, cooperate and get up together.”
