Kochi Corporation is ready to start steps to alleviate formalities related to social security pension.
The mayor of M. Anilkumar, who addressed Corporation Council here, said that a special cell would be created for this purpose. The purpose of the cell is to remove unforeseen and excessive delays and obstacles with regard to social security pensions. Eligible among candidates will be ensured first.
The cell will operate either outside the zonal office or from the main office. The decision in this regard will be taken very soon. The Council also decided to assign the study rooms to those from the planned caste with the holding of certificates. That was after the councilor PR Ranish pointed out that the requests for many with the certificate were rejected. This question was notified to the director for the development of the planned caste and the reaction was positive, he said.
Anilkumar said that the state government will be addressed to increase the wages of participants and pharmacists at the same level as an increase in wages for homeopathic doctors. The demand for this purpose was raised by the councilor Benedict Fernandes.
The mayor said that the lights of high masts should only be installed in divisions only with the knowledge of the councilors concerned. People representatives should consult in this respect. In many places, the lights of high masts were installed without the knowledge of the councilors and when they get into disruption, the load falls on the corporation.
Mr. Anilkucar said that this should be prevented and called on the councilors to decide the place and the number of such lights through consultations. The letter will be given to representatives of people. The mayor said that a special allocation received as an allocation of the state government budget as part of the People’s Plan campaign, which would be moved to the industry on the basis of practicality.
The society also decided to intensify the fight against drug threats. The quick reaction teams will be created by the inclusion of police and excise tax members for the purpose of the department. The company’s budget also mentioned the determination to fight the drug threat.
