Main Minister Siddaramaiah reviewed the progress of the cooperation department on Thursday and said that loans for agriculture of 28,000 GBP would be paid to 37 lakhs in 2025-26.
He said that 8,362,68 crore was paid to 8,69 284 farmers to 31. July 2025.
It notes that NABARD has reduced the limitation of discounted interest rates from 5,600 GBP Crore in 2024-25 to 3,236.11 Crore in 2025-26, he said that the main minister occurred 96.07% of progress in completion of the loan.
In the financial year 2024-25, agricultural loans of 25,939.09 GBP Crore were paid to 29,75 598 farmers.
He said that 28,516 cooperative companies in the state made profit, while 14,670 became a financial bankruptcy. Of these, 2,200 milk manufacturers’ associations failed financially.
This is the first meeting of the cooperative department after KN Rajanna was released.
The Ministry of Cooperative Companies (DRCS) is investigating irregularities in Kannada Sahitya Parishat and the investigation is underway, the main minister said.
“There were complaints about Parishat’s abolition membership,” the chief minister said, ordering officials to act under the law.
