Dr. Bricks’ Ambedkar Smriti vanam contractual workers organized the second day of their protest “Bhikshatan” (protest using begging bowls), on Saturday (04th October 2025) demanded an immediate payment of nine -month salaries.
The contractual secretary of the Federation of employees Andhra Pradesh Andr Pradesh and the outsourcing general secretary of the Federation of employees M. Baburao and the Center of Indian Trade Unions (Emperor) City President K. Durgarao demanded that the government immediately released ongoing salaries of contracting workers or facing their anger in the form of intensified state protests.
However, the protesters of the police stopped the Vanam in the entrance to the premises. They condemned the police, and the workers noted that it was unfortunate that neither the government nor the supplier noticed their financial crisis for non -paying wages.
