A special court for ACB on Saturday (August 2) ordered a special investigative team (SIT), which during the previous regime probed alleged fraud with liqueur to notice monetary notes seized from the farm in the neighboring state of Telangana before depositing in the bank. The branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) Machavaram, where notes were stored, was also asked not to mix confiscated or stored monetary notes with others until other commands.
Sit recently confiscated the CRS 11 GBP from the farm in the village of Kacharam in Shamshabad in the Rangareddy district in Telangana and claimed that the money was secretly deposited there for the main accused in the case of Kasireddy Rajasekhar Reddy, before June 2024.
In the petition before the Rajasekhar Reddy, the police said the police had printed the monetary notes printed after June 2024, and asked the court to obtain serial numbers of monetary notes recorded SITs.
The petitioner also sought to appoint a lawyer commissioner to record the serial numbers of monetary notes, Videograph This process and create a record in court. According to the petition, another superintendent of P. Srihar Babu police appeared in court and said that the agency had already deposited cash at the SBI Machavaram branch of August.
The petitioner claimed that SIT did not store cash in the bank and suspicion of a foul. The petitioner claimed that SIT had made hectic efforts to replace monetary notes on “change, manipulation and evidence to check”.
“If such an attempt is allowed, the petitioner will be subject to great injustice and suffering,” the petition said, praying that the court would order the SIT to order SBI to keep the currency notes without mixing them with others in the bank.
