People complain about long waiting times in the stores of fair prices due to part of family cards classified as a priority house (PHH).
“I was asked to put my palm on the scanner twice. For the first time he was for rice and wheat, and the second was for sugar, palm oil and gave. Because the scanner did not work properly, I had to place my palm several times, which took time,” Viswanathan from Pattabiram and PHH holder.
If the PHH card holder needs more time to ensure that biometric data corresponds to what is in the records, other customers are also forced to wait. “Why two accounts and scanning are needed. All of us receive the same subjects. The government should allow scanning Iris if the palm press data do not register correctly,” said S. Vaidehi, household.
Viswanathan of Chitlapakkam said there were only 100 PHH cards in the store in the store, and if the Internet connection was slow, the trader would ask the consumer to carry him. “Because there are not many PHH card holders, people don’t have to wait long,” he said.
Consumer activist T. Sadagopan said some other system should be implemented to shorten the waiting time for those who have cards without PHH. “Even with PHH IS cards, visiting a local fair trade is not a very pleasant experience for many for many. Scanning equipment needs replacement,” he said.
A retirement officer said that the center gave the holders of PHH cards and wheat, and therefore there were two accounts. Officials could not be approached for the answer.
