Almost a week after the leader of the opposition at Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi began the process of appointing the Party Presidents in Haryana, the Congress Committee for All India (AIC) and Pradesh Congress Committes (PCC) on Tuesday, the consultation process launched in about half of the district’s organization.
While the party still has to launch a process in most 22 districts, Charkhi Dadri observers, including Dadri and Badhr’s constituencies, on Tuesday after the three -day extensive consultations with the leaders of the parties in the district packed the process.
“We talked in detail about stakeholders about their contributions to the Party and Society of AO, if they exist, we held it. Then we led a discussion with important social activists in the district because they are expected to be unbiased, and we were looking for their feedback on candidates.
Eligibility criteria
One of the three PCC observers, Lal Bahadur Khowal, said that the committee had collected the application forms and recommended at least three or a maximum of six names at a high command. Anyone at the age of 35 to 55 years of age can apply for a post and has been an active party member in the last five years.
One of the candidates, Raja Maan, the national connector of the entire Indian Congress Kisan, said Mr. Gandhi’s announcement of the renewal of the district organization was a “welcome” step and fulfilled the local level with new energy. “The workers waited for the organization to be introduced for a long time. The party focuses on young leadership and the fair selection process is commendable. The fact that the district presidents would also have a word in the shortlist for elections, made this contribution even more important,” said a 53 -year -old man.
In addition to the basic details, the two -page application form is looking for details of the candidate whether it is any educational and medical institute, has sometimes been a member of any other party and details of their political and social activities.
However, the leader of the Congress in Nuh, Bashir Mohammadi, said that this process is not expected to be fully “fair” and “impartial” and will be influenced by the opinion and due to prominent district leaders. “Mr. Gandhi’s intentions are good, but it is not expected that observers will find a” right “person in the range of two or three days. They would eventually have to rely on the opinion of higher leaders in the district, “said Mrs. Mohammadi, former councilor.
Congress President Haryan Udai Bhan said that the consultation process was scheduled for the beginning of June 10, but observers decided on the schedule according to their comfort. “While this process began in Charkhi Dadri two days back, on Tuesday it started in several other districts like Faridabad, Sonipat and Sirs. Observers have a month to finish it,” he said.
The number of applications received so far said that the state unit had no information about it and the details were with the relevant district observers.
However, the party’s sources stated that 15-20 applications were adopted on average.
