Takahashi Muneo, Consul General, Consulate General of Japan in Chennai called on Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay at the Secretariat on Wednesday. Mr. Muneo held talks with the Chief Minister.

Later, the British Deputy High Commissioner (in charge), Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry, Sutapa Choudhury and Kripa Ramachandran, Political Adviser to the British High Commissioner in India, met and held discussions with the Prime Minister.

Ms Choudhury’s meeting with the CM was timed ahead of his visit to the UK, his first foreign trip since assuming office.
