Minister of the Union of the Union ML Khattar said on Tuesday (August 5, 2025) that the construction of all 10 buildings of the common central secretariat (CCS) would end by mid -2027.

The clerk said that the offer for the demolition of four Bhavans would float within two months and the construction of the remaining buildings will start by December.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (August 6, 2025) will start the first CCS building called Kartavya Bhavan -03. The Prime Minister is later scheduled for a public assembly on the path of Kartavya.
10 CCS buildings are part of the government ambitious central plan of remediation of Vista. Two buildings with insufficient construction, 1 and 2 are planned next month, while CCS 10 will be completed by April next year.
CCS 6 and 7 will be built by October 2026.
The entire central Vista will be connected to the new metro line from Metro Indrastha. The line will pass through the CCS, North Block and South Block buildings and will include a stop for the Supreme Court and the Delhi High Court, said the Secretary, the Ministry of Housing and the City Affairs, Katikithala Srinivas.
