The mainstable of UPParpete was booked for the alleged kicking of a colleague and abuse after protesting against his notes about women in general.
On the basis of the complainant filed by the police, the police accused BG Govindaraju for attacking and outrage by the modesty of the woman.
The alleged incident occurred late on the night of June 10, when Renuka fed two smaller girls who escaped from their homes and were found in the bus stand.
Govindaraju, who was sitting nearby, allegedly began notes to girls and women, humiliated them and threw them asperze on their character.
The girls heard their remarks and handed the same to Renuk that confronted Govindaraju.
In response to Govindaraju, he reportedly abused Renuka and kicked her.
The assistant of the Sub-inspector Thimmegowd, Constables BadAppan and Mahesh came to her rescue, while Govindaraju reportedly continued to attack her and repeatedly kicked her.
Renuka announced the incident to her seniors before filing a complaint to the police.
