On Wednesday, youth activists organized a protest against the main Minister Pinaray Vijayan protest against the main flag and claimed government inactivity in dealing with an ongoing strike by accredited social health activists (Ashas).
The protest took place when the chief minister left the Azhoor Pension to attend an inspection meeting in the district that took place to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the state government.
Demonstrators, led by the President of the District of the Congress for Youth Vijay Induchudan and the State Secretary Ren P. Rajan, captured the convoy of the main minister on the road Pathanamitta-Tazho-workav. Activists waved black flags and briefly blocked the safety vehicle before the police hit.
The police forcibly removed the protesters, which led to heated exchanges between them. Demonstrators were subsequently taken into preventive custody and kept until the main minister left the district.
