The Congress Party wants people to forget the emergency situation of 1975 and the people mislead that the nation is facing an unexplored emergency situation, said Minister of Pralhad Joshi on Sunday.
Mr. Joshi focused on a seminar organized by Bharatiya Janata (BJP) as part of a nationwide campaign organized in connection with the 50th anniversary of the emergency situation. “After such a long gap, people want people to forget the emergency situation. But in the interests of democracy and countries, people should not be allowed to forget it,” he said.
According to him, he was recognized for the strong fight against the emergency situation, Jan Sangh, RSS and ABVP. The Communist parties did not sink a fight. Neither Congress nor Congress prove “Iota” by respect for Brus, who chaired the committee that proposed the constitution.
The BJP campaign is designed to make people more alert and ensure that the constitution is not manipulated again, Joshi said. Almost 50% of the constitution was changed within 21 months of emergency.
