As part of intensifying protests against the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government ahead of the boyhood local elections, the Kerala Congress (KC) will hold a protest rally at Thirunakkara in Kottayam on October 25. The protest will highlight the alleged breach of promises by the LDF government and its anti-people activities.
On Tuesday in Kottayam, party leaders said that KC chairman PJ Joseph will inaugurate the meeting which will be held at 3 pm. Labor Chairman PC Thomas will chair the event.
The keynote address will be delivered by Executive Chairman Mons Joseph, MLA. General Secretary Joy Abraham, TU Kuruvila Vice Chairman, Francis George MP, Apu State Coordinator John Joseph and others will be speaking on the occasion. Representatives of the party’s state, district, house and ward offices, as well as leaders of feeder organizations, will participate in the mass protest.
