Chamala Congress MP Kiran Kumar Reddy found fault with BRS working president KT Rama Rao’s allegation of fraud in Suryapet mining e-auction and said BRS is surviving on baseless allegations and misleading the public.
Reacting to KTR’s letter, he said, “Those who suffer from jaundice see the whole world as yellow. KTR is behaving like BRS has been involved in looting Telangana at every opportunity.” He claimed that KTR believed that whoever occupied the chief minister’s seat would indulge in corruption, “just like he and his father allegedly did”. The MP further claimed that only a handful of leaders controlled the BRS and benefited from its ten-year rule.
He said that Rahul Gandhi had come to Telangana to strengthen the organizational structure of the Congress party. “In our party, everyone is a leader,” he said in contrast to what he called “family rule” in the BRS. He added that terms such as structured training programs for district presidents “do not exist in the BRS vocabulary”.
Targeting Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Mr. Chamala said he should focus on development plans for Telangana instead of making statements just for newspaper headlines.
