The head of the opposition in the State Assembly VD Satheesan said on Wednesday that CPI ministers (M) P. Rajeev and MB Rajesh were “wrong” when they said in the house that Congress was not protesting or providing complaints about the threat of death by BJP leader BJP.
Mr. Satheesen, who spoke at a press conference that took place in his official residence in Thiruvananthapurama, said the threat of BJP, Print Mahadevan, was made on the 26th September channel.
In the next two days, the leaders of Congress were filed several complaints at various police stations in the state.
“September 27 We even organized protests and I attended one of them. We thought the government would ensure that the case was registered. When no companies were submitted by noon 29 September, we raised a problem in the house,” the opposition leader said.
“Only after the company was registered in the evening of 29. September, were ministers wrong when they said we did not protest or filed a complaint,” he added.
He also said that Mr. Rajeev probably did not realize that the 27th and 28th September were on Saturday and Sunday, when the Minister asked why the Congress did not raise the matter in the house the next day after the incident.
Mr. Satheesen added that Mr. Rajesh said the house that the complaint was only received 29. September, which was also incorrect.
“I call on both ministers to withdraw their incorrect statements,” he said.
He also questioned how Shamseer could call the “threat of death” to Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha, as a minor problem when the opposition UDF tried to wake this as a design of adjournment in the house.
After the house was postponed on Tuesday (September 30, 2025) due to the opposition protest, UDF MLA told reporters outside the assembly that Minister Pinarayi Vijayan should clarify whether the comment that Rahul Gandhi “would be shot in the chest was a trivial matter”.
They also claimed that the government “protects” the leader of the BJP for fear of the party and called it “the latest evidence of the wicked alliance between BJP and CPI (m) in Kerala”.
Subsequently, the state management of the BJP accused Congress -Us of the “start of unnecessary propaganda” against the party in this matter.
Mr. Mahadevan, allegedly former leader ABVP, allegedly made notes during a television debate on protests in Bangladesh and Nepal.
On Tuesday (September 30, 2025) the evening appeared in front of the police together with some party workers and its arrest was formally recorded. Then he was made before the court, which gave him a bail.
