On Tuesday, the State Congress installed Flex albums and built posters with photographs of the former Prime Minister of Indian Gandhi, who emphasized its leadership during the 1971 Indian War, at 20 prominent intersections in Bengalur.
They tried to compare the situation that prevailed in 1971 and today by saying that despite the bravery of the armed forces, the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modim was not behind her.
During the operation of Sindoor, India and Pakistan, they agreed on a ceasefire on the command of US President Donald Trump. Before the military brass ordered the soldiers to stop the operations, Mr. Trump announced a ceasefire between the two countries, Congress said.
Congress in one of the flex records, “Indira Gandhi didn’t need hashtags … created history.” Another poster said, “India remembers Durg.” Former Prime Minister AB Vajpayee described Gandhi Indra as “Durg” after the Indian victory against Pakistan in 1971. Another poster said, “Indira would end it before it started.”
Congress further said that “at that time the Indian army, which gave a suitable answer to Pakistan, achieved a historical victory in just 13 days. The Indian army penetrated into Lahore, Pakistan.”
In 1971, 93,000 Pakistani soldiers gave up. Indira Gandhi herself visited the war zone, Congress stressed. “People say Mr. Modi went to the BIHAR campaign instead of attending a meeting of all parties,” the party said in its statement.
Bjp objures on posters
The leader of the opposition in the legislative assembly, R. Ashok, responded strongly to banners, criticized the timing of congress posters. “There is no time to build Indired Gandhi posters,” he said.
