Congress leaders represented protest against changes on Saturday in Sricacula in Sricacula.
The President of the Congress of the District Congress SRIKAKULM Angbati Krishnarao claimed that the Bill-2025 WAKF would limit the religious autonomy of the Muslim community and it was against the principles of the Constitution that guaranteed ownership rights under Article 300 A.
Together with other leaders on Saturday, he organized a protest near the statue of Gandh in the office of the municipal company in Srikakulam.
When he talked to the media, he said that the bill would prepare a way for plundering valuable Wakf real estate, which were intended for the development and well -being of the Muslim community.
“The Congress Party and other party deputies have filed cases with the Supreme Court against the Act. We hope that the Indian Supreme Court will cancel the bill, which must be in force as a new act,” said Mr. Krishna Rao.
