
The All-India (AIC) Congress Committee approved a proposal for the appointment of JD Seelam and Lalis Valis on Wednesday for the President of Congress Andr Pradesh (APCC).
On Wednesday, a letter signed by the Secretary General AICC KC Venugopal was released. Similarly, the party’s national unit also approved the Institute of APCC Committee on Political Affairs.
This committee represents B. Manickam Tagore, Ys Sharmila Reddy, N. Raghuver Reddy, K. Raju, Mm Pallam Raju, Gidugu Rudra Raju, JD Selam, Malnan Vali, KVP Ramacadra Rao, Chinta Mohan, K. Bapi Raju, GV Harsha Kuamr, N. Tulasi, Kilisi. Kruparani, Lingamsetty Eswara Rao, PM Kamalamma, K. Sudhakar, Re vunnamsetti Naik, Sirivella Prasad, G. USha Naidu, Ganesh Yadav and Palak Verma.
However, the list of selected candidates led to disappointment in some neighborhoods.
The state vice -president of the party and leader BC Kolanual Shivaji said that the meetings were “deeply disappointing”. “The backward classes have not been represented among the working presidents of APCC,” he adds that even in the previous PCC committee, four individuals were appointed as working presidents, but neither of them was from the BC community.
“Discrimination continues. Although BCS accounts for about 55% of the population, they are postponed. This is not good for the congress side,” said Mr. Shivaji.
