The head of Congress spoke on Monday with various votes about the question of the latest commentary by US President Donald Trump about the imposition of higher tariffs for the purchase of Russian oil.
“So much for Howdy Modi. So much for Namaste Trump. So much for AB Ki Baar Trump Sarkar. So many for BJP deputies Narendra Modi as an Indian trump card,” said Jairam Ramesh’s Communications Chief on X.
“This is what happens when foreign policy happens about the construction of the image, not in national interest,” Mr. Ramesh added.
His colleague by Manish Tewari, who described President Trump on X, asked the US president not to lose his sleep over him. “We have sufficient resistance to a nation to withstand your customs threat,” he added.
Former Union Minister Anand Sharma noted that the comments of the US President on “India and its economy were Belittling and unacceptable”.
“As the fourth largest economy, India has resistance and inherent power to engage in the world on the principles of equality and mutual respect,” Mr. Sharma said on X.
