Members of the Mysuru District Congress on Saturday launched a signature campaign in the city against alleged vote rigging by the BJP.
This is a continuation of a campaign launched by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who alleged that the BJP was involved in electoral fraud and accused the Election Commission of turning a blind eye to it.
Congress workers alleged that democracy was destroyed in India and elections were rigged to ensure the victory of the ruling BJP at the Centre. Calling it a threat to democracy, Congress leaders in Mysuru sought public support for their campaign.
City Congress President Vijaykumar, District Unit President R. Murthy and others were present.
