On Friday (May 9, 2025), the Jamm and Kashmir Congress condemned Pakistan for focusing on Jammu and other areas in the region with missiles and drones on Thursday (May 8, 2025) at night and said that the neighboring country “would have to pay for his sins”.
“The JK Pradesh Congress Committee strongly condemns the provocative and escalating action of Pakistan by launching drones and missile attacks in Jammu and other parts,” said Ravinder spokesman in the party.
“Pakistan will pay for his sins,” he added.
On Thursday night, Pakistani thwarted new attempts to set military sites with drones and missiles – including Jammu, Pathankota and Udhampur – after suppressing similar offers in 15 locations in the northern and western regions of the country because the tension between the two nations increased in the middle of the strongest conflicts.

In the rapid and accurate response of the Indian armed forces, the attacks initiated from the border by capturing and neutralizing all incoming missiles and drones focused on key places in Jamm and its surrounding areas late on Thursday evening.
Eight missiles were released from Pakistan, focused on civilian and strategic sites in Satwari, Samba, RS Pura and Arnia.
Indian air defense units, however, emerged into the action and captured each missile and prevented victims, the officials said.
The renewed attempts of Pakistani forces came after the Indian armed forces on Wednesday carried out accurate missile strikes on nine terrorist goals in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) and Pakistan under the operation of Sindoor in retaliation in a terrorist attack 22.
