A large-scale protest was organized in the city on Saturday by the Khairatabad (Hyderabad Central) District Congress Committee targeting the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over alleged compromises in India’s national interests.
A protest march was held from Babu Jagjivan Ram statue to Jawaharlal Nehru statue in Hyderabad. During the rally, a massive 30-meter banner with the words “PM IS COMPROMISED” was displayed, attracting considerable public attention.
Addressing the gathering, Khairatbad DCC President Motha Rohit Mudiraj said that Prime Minister Modi has threatened Indian sovereignty, especially in relation to the India-US trade agreement.
