
On Sunday, the government of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh came under a sharp attack from the congress after the home journalist was reportedly ignited.
The incident occurred 4th April in the Panwar Chouhanan Tola under the Jamodi police station, when they were reporter and youtuber Ravi Kumar Pandey and his family at home, the police said.
Sidhi Superintendant of Police Ravindra Verma told Hindu that the company was filed on the basis of a complaint by Uncle Mr. Pandey and a probe began.
“Received a threat”
Mr. Pandey shared a video of an incident on Facebook and said he had received a threat and suspicious of four people.
“I wanted to name them in the company, but the police convinced my uncle against him and said you wouldn’t get any compensation,” he said.
Although the police insisted that the incident was not related to journalism Mr. Pandey, they took the best leaders of the X Congress to slam the government over this matter.
“This is a brutal attack on freedom of expression and is proof of the disorder of law and order in the state,” wrote former main Minister Kamal Nath.
“The anarchy in Madhya Pradesh crossed its peak. Along with poor workers, deprived, exploited, Dalits, tribes and women, the media are now openly attacked,” said state state chief Jita Patwari.
