The founder of Madiga Reserve Samithi (MRPS) Manda Krishn Madig killed the Congress Government led by A. Revant Reddy for failing to increase social security pensions and demanded an immediate increase in monthly pension to 6,000 for people with disabilities and 4,000 GBP for Cheyutha.
The address of the “Maha Garjan”, a massive public meeting held in the village of Kollur in the Pachrancheruru election district on Monday, said: “It is 21 months since the government of Revanth came to power, but the poor are waiting for the introduction of pension tourism.
He questioned the government’s obligation and warned that they would intensify the disturbance if the hike was not made. “Dharna will be held in all 33 Telangana districts and will block the Hyderabad-Vijayawad highway in the coming days, forcing the government to finally take note and act according to its promise,” he added.
