BRS working president KT Rama Rao alleged that A. Revanth Reddy’s government has pushed Hyderabad into the abyss in all sectors and people are facing problems in all spheres of life, from sanitation to public transport and from industrial progress to trade and commerce.
In a meeting with party leaders of Hyderabad on Saturday, he claimed that irregularities, corruption and fraud by the ruling party had ruined the reputation of the city. The government neglected the problems of the people and instead focused only on the economic interests and real estate business of the ruling party leaders.
This was the reason why the Revanth Reddy government pursued government land in and around the city with the help of HYDRAA, HILT policy, TDR (Transferable Development Rights) and fourth/future city. The Congress government has been concentrating only on real estate business for the last 24 months.
In order to make quick money, the government was saving all its energy for the development of the fourth city by neglecting the existing city, alleged Mr. Rama Rao. The meeting discussed the party’s action plan for the issues that will be discussed at the upcoming session of the parliament.
To coordinate party activities in Greater Hyderabad, Mr. Rama Rao has given MLC Dasoja Sravan and former MLC Karne Prabhakar in charge of GHMC area, MLC Shambipur Raju for Malkajigiri Corporation, MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy for Cyberabad area.
All MLAs, MLCs, former MLAs and MLCs and other party leaders attended the meeting.
